Good morning,
Since I purchased my desktop computer (HP Z1 G9 Tower Desktop), I have been using an ethernet connection for internet access with no issue.
After having some problems with the modem connected to the ethernet connection, I purchased a mobile modem that needs WiFi connection. Not having ever used or needed WiFi on the desktop before, I didn't realise the WiFi icon doesn't not appear as an option anywhere. The Network Adapters in the Device Manager show no Wifi, wireless options. I've searched online and tried troubleshooting options, but nothing works.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some advice on how I can rectify this? I am completely lost.
Thanks.

Hi:
Wi-Fi in a HP business Desktop is an optional feature and does not come standard.
The easiest thing to do without having to take the PC apart to add a Wi-Fi adapter with an external antenna kit, would be to purchase a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.
I use this one for example on my HP Elitedesk 800 G3 that did not come with built in Wi-Fi:
However, I only paid about $15.00 USD for mine.
The ones that are $15 AUD are out of stock.
