I have recently re-installed my windows 7, and the first thing I noticed was that I don't have internet. I did the troubleshoot and after using the troubleshoot to find internet access, I receive a message saying: "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-instal the driver." I went into device manager, and under "Other devices" I found that "USB controller, Network Controller, SM Bus controller" have an exclamation mark. Any thoughts? I have tried many exe files from websites, and others for other laptops, and nothing. PLEASE HELP!

Hi:
For the SMBus controller, and USB controller, you have to install the W7 AMD chipset drivers from the AMD website.
You want the 1st file listed under the W7 32 bit driver section.
For the Network controller, please post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what model Wi-Fi adapter HP installed in your notebook, because there are a few possibilities.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager
After you provide that information, I will be able to provide the link to the Wi-Fi driver you need.
