@Sona17, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I'm here to help you with issues related to HP products. It seems like your issue could be related to driver updates or software settings on your HP laptop.

Check Network Settings:

  • Ensure that your WiFi is turned on. Look for a physical switch on your laptop or a function key (e.g., Fn + F12) that toggles WiFi.

Restart Your Laptop:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can restore missing icons and resolve minor software glitches.

Run HP Support Assistant:

  • HP Support Assistant is a useful tool that can help manage and update your HP device's drivers and software.
  • Make sure your HP Support Assistant is up to date and use it to check for any network driver updates.

Check Device Manager:

  • Open Device Manager (right-click on Start menu > Device Manager).
  • Under "Network adapters," look for your WiFi adapter. If it's not listed, your driver may need to be reinstalled.
  • If you see a yellow triangle, it indicates there's an issue with the driver.

Update Network Drivers:

  • Use HP Support Assistant or Windows Update to check for driver updates.
  • Alternatively, visit hp.com/go/hpsupportassistant to download the latest version of HP Support Assistant if you don't have it installed.

Run Windows Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Internet Connections and run the troubleshooter.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
