I had an update on my computer and the issue has come back not too long after, what else can I do to fix it.
All the bluetooth section except for the bluetooth adapter is hidden and all show this:

The bluetooth adapter says this in the properties tab:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

Hi @MimiB21

Thank you for responding.

I understand that you are facing the issue again. Since the adapter is also reporting Code 43 and the Bluetooth toggle disappears intermittently, Windows appears to be reinitializing the Bluetooth device when the issue occurs. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Please try the following additional steps:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Expand Bluetooth.
  3. Right-click MediaTek Bluetooth Adapter and select Uninstall device.
  4. If available, select Attempt to remove the driver for this device.
  5. Restart the notebook and allow Windows to detect the adapter again.

Also, when the issue occurs next time:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Right-click MediaTek Bluetooth Adapter.
  3. Select Properties > General.
  4. Share a screenshot of the General tab showing the complete Code 43 message.

I Hope this helps.

Have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
