Last week I could connect to the internet with both the ethernet cable and wifi. Today I can't even discover any wifi networks, and there isn't an option to do anything with wifi. I have a wifi Bluetooth connected to the USB port.

@RemedyTattoo, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Wi-Fi issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand that your Wi-Fi option is missing, and you are unable to connect to any networks. Let's try restoring BIOS to default settings as part of our troubleshooting steps.
Restore BIOS to Default Settings
- Turn off your computer completely.
- Turn it back on and immediately start pressing the F10 key repeatedly (or Esc > F10) to enter the BIOS setup.
- Once inside BIOS, look for an option like "Load Setup Defaults" or "Restore Defaults" (this may be under the "Exit" or "Advanced" tab, depending on your model).
- Select it and confirm by choosing "Yes" to restore BIOS to factory settings.
- Save changes and exit BIOS (F10 > Yes).
- The system will restart.
Check if Wi-Fi is Restored
Once your computer reboots, check if the Wi-Fi option has returned. If not, please follow these additional steps:
- Check Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager > Network Adapters) to see if your Wi-Fi adapter is listed.
- If missing, try reinstalling the Wi-Fi drivers from the HP support website or Windows Update.
Let me know if the issue persists, and I’ll be happy to assist further!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

No, the situation is that I am connected via ethernet, but I prefer to have the option to connect also using wifi. When I purchased the computer it came with a Wifi 5G + Bluetooth 4.2 and I have always been able to see available wifi networks and connect as an additional option. Since the last Windows updates mid February, I can't view anything wifi related. There is no longer any Wifi option.
