My hp laptop have not been able to pick up wifi so i downloaded some adapters but it still wont work

My laptop wont show any wifi around me, i downloaded some wifi adpaters but it still wont work i tried looking for the wifi drivers on the hp website but it does not show any available for my laptop.My product name is Hp stream laptop 14-cb164wm and the serial number is [Personal Information Removed]

To enter the Windows settings, simultaneously press Windows key + i / Internet and network , or search from the start menu "Network Status", select Status, and then select "Network Reset".

Clicking on Reset now will bring up a new window from where we can reset the network in Windows 10. In this way, all network adapters on your computer will be removed and reinstalled, and the original configuration of other network components will be restored. This implies that, if you were using any software such as a VPN client or virtual switches, you will have to reinstall them.

Another option is to download the following driver but I have not installed it yet:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111001-111500/sp111389.exe

Try installing it manually from the device manager or you can try installing it in compatibility mode.

I did the second option because i already did the first and it didnt work but the second option did not work either even though after i downloaded and opened it and restarted it my wifi still wont work.
