Needed ethernet cable

I want to switch from wireless access to hardwire access with ethernet cable.  What ethernet cable "Cat" do I need?

And, how long can that cable be before compromising speed? I will probably need it to be 25'.  Will that work?

Hi:

I recommend that you use a CAT 6 cable.

25' should not compromise the ethernet speed.
