pavilion laptop 15 - cs2xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop  is not connecting to wireless internet. It connects to the internet through a LAN cable though. And also the Bluetooth does not work as well. In the device manager window, there is a yellow exclamation mark under Network Controller and Bluetooth driver. Which driver do I need to install to fix this?

Hi:

If you post the hardware ID for the Network Controller, I will post the links to the wifi and bluetooth drivers you need.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

Hi:

You need these wifi and bluetooth drivers...

This package provides the Intel wireless drivers for supported computer models using a supported Windows operating system.

Hi:

I'm not sure why the drivers aren't working because those should be the right ones.

I'm also surprised that W10 did not automatically install the drivers in the first place.

See if these drivers work instead...

Wifi:  First driver listed (64 bit)

Windows® 10 and Windows 11* Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel® Wireless Adapters

Bluetooth:  First driver listed (64 bit).

Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® for Windows® 10 and Windows 11

If the drivers still don't install, try manually installing them from the device manager.

You would have to download the W10 64 bit zip file, unzip it.

Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for IT Admins

Then go to the device manager, click on the Network controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.  Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the unzipped Intel wifi driver folder.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Do the same thing for the BT:

Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® for IT Administrators

If that doesn't work either, unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
