Solved!

Network Controller driver not working

HP Recommended

Hello

I am having the same problem with no available wi-fi networks and no network controller found (with yellow exclamation mark).  I am using a Pavilion a4327c-b PC Bundle with Windows 7 OS. Also, the hardware IDs for the network controller are:

PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0024&SUBSYS_3A701186&REV_01
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0024&SUBSYS_3A701186
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0024&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0024&CC_0280

Let me know if you need additional information and/or next steps for solving the problem.

Thank you for the support.

Hi:

I have zipped up and attached the driver file you need below.

Download and unzip the file to its driver folder.

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager and click on the Network Controller device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.   Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC, and you should be able to connect to the internet wirelessly.

Fantastic Paul!  That worked perfectly.  It was fairly simple and straightforward...even for a non-tech guy like me.  Thanks again!
