Hi,
I recently purchased HP Omen PC. The wifi always randomly disconnects. When it disconnects, it does not detect any wifi at all. Turning wifi on and off does not work either. I always have to restart the PC the bring the wifi back.
This happens randomly too. Sometimes the wifi disconnects in an hour after opening PC. Sometimes it happens after leaving the PC on for 20 hours, and other times it happens after 40+ hours. However, each time I always have to restart the PC to fix it.
I have updated the wifi driver and BIOs from HP to the most recent version. I removed power saving option from the Device Management on the network adapter. I tried uninstalling the wifi driver and reinstalling it. Windows 11 is up to date.
The wifi device is: HP Omen Realtek 8852BE-VT Wireless Wifi 6
OS: Windows 11

Hi:
What is the driver version and date you installed for the Realtek 8852BE-VT Wi-Fi adapter?
It seems like HP removed the Realtek Wi-Fi driver from the support page, leaving only the Bluetooth driver.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Realtek 8852BE-VT Wi-Fi driver to the latest version that is on the Microsoft Update Catalog website -- 6001.19.130.0.
You want the first file listed on the webpage.
Since this file is a cabinet file and there is no executable, you will have to manually install the driver.
The first thing you need to do is to download and install the free 7-Zip file utility so you can unzip the cabinet file into a driver folder you can work with.
You want the first file listed on the link below:
After you install 7-Zip, right click on the cabinet file you saved from the Windows Update Catalog site.
Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the file into that long folder name.
After that is done, go to the device manager.
Click on the Reatek Wi-Fi adapter.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that 7-Zip created.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
