I am setting up my Z2 G9 Small Form Factor Desktop with this current setup:
Windows 11 Version 22H2
The system only came with the intel(R) ethernet connection. for Network adapters. I found the what version of windows 11 my system was operation on and pulled directly from HP the Driver-Network section the Intel Wireless LAN Driver file name: sp149975.exe . I downloaded it to my laptop with an internet connection then saved it to a zip drive and then on the Z2 dragged it to the desktop. After going through the download process and reset it still will not appear on the Device Manager tool for selection to allow my desktop to connect to my wifi.
Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve the issue?

If your PC only came with an ethernet adapter, adding a Wi-Fi driver doesn't provide Wi-Fi.
Your PC didn't come with the optional Wi-Fi adapter hardware and antenna system.
The easiest thing to do to add Wi-Fi to your PC would be to purchase a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.
I use this one on my HP Elitedesk 800 G3 DM running W11 22H3. Works fine.
If you want to take the PC apart and use an internal desktop Wi-Fi kit with external antennas, this one should work fine:
This kit comes with the low-profile mounting bracket needed for SFF PC's
Chapter 4 of the service manual has the procedure to install the Wi-Fi adapter.
You will have to route the antenna wires the best way you see fit.
