Looks like my original wireless LAN adapter is failing. Wireless keeps dropping and happensdhappens everyIevery fewnfew minutes now. What part do I orderaorder where is it installed? I've done desktop repair before but can seem to find the card location.

The wifi card looks like this...
It will have one thin antenna wire going to it and the card will be lying flat on motherboard in a mini-PCIe slot.
Follow the thin antenna wire to the location of the wifi card.
The specs state there is only one antenna, but if there are two antenna cables connected to the card, let me know, and I will suggest a dual band wifi card replacement.
If there is only one, I will give you a recommendation for a single band wifi/bluetooth card that works with one antenna cable.
The Atheros wifi card may be on its way out, or as the newer builds of W10 are issued, it may just not be compatible with W10 anymore since the wifi drivers haven't been updated in years, and they won't be.
