Hi! I have had my OMEN 30L gaming desktop for a little over a year now. Everything has been going great, however, 2 days ago when I went to go play games, I was not connected to the internet. So, I opened the networks menu. The only things there are the network settings button and the airplane mode button. Since then, I have done so many tutorials and online methods that my eyes are practically bleeding.
Some things I feel important to add:
- I have not had an update in a week (I looked at my update history).
- When I go into the network driver, its status is "Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device".
- In the Windows network settings, wifi, ethernet, and other network settings are not there.
- I tried plugging an ethernet cable into my PC, however, it says that there is no cable plugged in.
- In the Network Connections menu, the one labeled 'WiFi' is not there.
Also, to add insult to injury, when I tried to reset my BIOS settings, it reset my security settings as well. When I tried to log in again, it asked me to set up my password again. However, setting up your password requires internet, which I DO NOT HAVE. I am locked out of my PC without any way to get back in. How do I get out of this infinite loop of misery?
