Numlock keeps turning itself on and off. The HP wireless keyboard does not have a numlock key to turn the numeric keypad in the keyboard on and off.

@ourdotcomguy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Enable and Disable Num Lock on HP PCs Using On-Screen Keyboard!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP wireless keyboard does not have a physical Num Lock key, you can use the on-screen keyboard to enable or disable the Num Lock function. Here is a step-by-step guide:

Open On-Screen Keyboard:

  • In Windows, search for "On-Screen Keyboard" and open it.

Access Keyboard Options:

  • Click on the "Options" button in the On-Screen Keyboard.

Enable Numeric Keypad:

  • In the Options window, select the "Turn on numeric keypad" checkbox, and then click "OK".

Activate Num Lock:

  • The On-Screen Keyboard now displays a numeric keypad. Click "NumLock" to enable the numeric keypad.

This method will allow you to control the Num Lock state even if your physical keyboard does not have a Num Lock key.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
