I know my system is Wireless capable but I am not clear on the Bluetooth. Purchased a bluetooth speaker but unable to connect to PC. Is this because it is not Bluetooth capable? Is there a particular external bluetooth enable device I can purchase to resolve the problem . Thank you

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for your PC.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02481325
The specs don't even show that it is wireless capable, let alone bluetooth capable.
So yes, you would need to purchase a separate external usb bluetooth adapter for the BT speakers to work.
I bought this model and was able to work a pair of bluetooth speakers with it.

Paul thank you so much for your help. You make life much easier for those of use that struggel to figure the technical stuff out. Guess my PC is just too old to be up to the new standards but a least I can purchase a device to enable the Bluetooth speaker. Again Thanks
