Spectrum changed equipment  and now unable to connect to internet. Technician suggested to ask if computer

What is your machine ? 2009m is just a monitor, not a computer

I think your computer ONLY supports 2.4GHz networks, please ask the Technician to allow your router to broadcast DUAL bands, you machine can "see" 2.4GHz network and allow you to connect
