Solved!

PC cannot access other devices using Bluetooth

HP Recommended
Pavillion
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Broadcom Bluetooth installed on my PC. I also have bluetooth on my Android phone and tablet. The two android systems can see the PC, but when I try and transfer files to the two Android systems, no devices are displayed. It said to check the Airplane Mode to see if Bluetooth is turned on but I can't find it. The device drivers are up todate and are working. I tried to install Widconnect but it couldn't find the bluetooth card and asked if it was turned on.

Hi @oxcart

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To better assist you - What's the exact model name of the computer? Click here for steps on finding the information we need. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

While you respond to that, try these steps -

Step 1 Run Bluetooth troubleshooter -
1) Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Update & security  > Troubleshoot.
2) Under "Find and fix other problems", select Bluetooth > Run the troubleshooter.

Step 2 Reinstall the Bluetooth drivers -
1) Right click on the start or Windows icon and open Device Manager.
2) Expand Network Adapter.
3) Right click on the Bluetooth drivers and click on uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I am running a H8-1020 / QN559AA#ABC. One problem. I click on the Start b utton, but I don't see Settings. I tried the second option, but it does not give me the option to delete the driver. Thank you.
