Hello HP Community,
I'm hoping someone here might have insights or suggestions—I’m at my wit’s end.
Both my Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections are refusing to connect to my main router. I recently had a technician replace all the internal wiring, and we even upgraded the router to a newer, more advanced model. Unfortunately, I’m still facing the exact same connectivity issues. I've also tried power cycling router so many times.
- For reference, I’m running Windows 11 Home Insider Edition. My network adapters are:
- Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller (Ethernet)
- Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter (Wi-Fi)
- Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Flushing the DNS and resetting the TCP/IP stack
- Restarting the computer and router multiple times
- Uninstalling, reinstalling, and updating all relevant network drivers
- Despite all of this, nothing seems to work. If anyone has run into something similar or has advanced troubleshooting steps to suggest, I’d really appreciate the help.
- Thanks in advance, – Naryli

Hi:
Since you didn't mention the driver versions and dates of the drivers currently installed, this is the latest Wi-Fi driver HP has for your PC:
Wi-Fi:
RTL8822CE/RTL8822BE/RTL8821CE, version 2024.10.230.600
For the Ethernet, I would try the latest driver from the Realtek site:
1st one on the list
Realtek PCIe 1G / 2.5G / 5G / 10G Ethernet Family Controller Software
