Can this Desktop PC be upgraded to WiFi 6 "AX" & BT 5.x without using a PCIe X1 adapter card? Is what's in it from the factory("AC" & BT 4.2) the latest & greatest for this board unless I use the above mentioned adapter? Thanks for your time and effort in this matter.

Hi:
You should be able to do a direct swap of the RTL8822BE AC wifi card with this one...
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005.
You can find this model wifi card on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
Intel wifi cards must be the non-vPro model when you install one in a consumer class desktop PC, which does not support Intel vPro technology.

As always- YOU GUYS are THE BEST! Once again I want to say THANK You for the help. I am rebuilding this PC and upgrading it at the same time. I prefer HP product over any other product basically because of the quality of the product but just as important the support given. Once again- THANK You! PEACE and prayers for all. Sincerely, Greg F.

You're very welcome, Greg.
Please post back and let us know how your PC's wifi card upgrade went.
Be very careful when removing and replacing the very thin and delicate antenna wires from the wireless card.
Cheers,
Paul

Hello again- SUCCESS is sweet- Thank you for your time and effort to help me with this UPGRADE. I did use HP part# L35282-005 and this machine works like I had hoped. I did have to purchase and install (1) extra internal antenna lead- this unit only had (1) antenna lead- I used "HP PartSurfer" to get the "HP part#" and then I found the antenna available on "ebay". The only problem for me(my hands shake) were the "miniature" antenna lead connectors- I got it done though. Thanks again- PEACE and prayers for all.
