Hi,

I am wondering is someone could please help me with the Power on Password problem.

I have tried a few times removing the CMOS Battery even for hours but still get the same error.

Any other suggestions?

Did you remove the main battery before disconnecting the CMOS/RTC battery???

The laptop that is giving me this problem does not have a battery. My client said the battery isn't working so he removed it. I did remove it from power and no battery installed when removing the CMOS/RTC battery.

Sorry but the system board would need to be replaced.

If you live within the Tampa Florida area I could sell you a working unit for $20.

Lol that would be awesome but I am living in South Africa.

Thanks for the kind offer though
