HP ENVY 6032 All-In-One Printer

Hi. I'm very frustrated.  I got new broadband and since then I can't connect my Epson envy printer. HP smart has been telling me to reconnect but I've tried everything.  Followed the instructions.  I've gone back to the beginning and now have WiFi blue light blinking but not solid. Can't move past it. Can you help please

Hi @Denise1188,

Sorry for the frustration. I see your printer is an HP ENVY 6032. A blinking blue Wi-Fi light means it isn't connected to the new broadband network yet, so let's put it back in setup mode and connect it to the new Wi-Fi.

Option 1 – Restore Wi-Fi setup mode and connect with HP Smart (most effective):

  1. Place the printer near the router, with the new Wi-Fi name and password at hand.
  2. On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button for 5 seconds, until the Status light turns purple.
  3. Within 2 hours, open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer, click the plus sign (+) / Add Printer, select the ENVY 6000 series printer and follow the steps. On a phone, turn on Bluetooth and location so the app can find the printer.
  4. When asked, choose your new broadband network and enter its password.

Option 2 – If HP Smart still doesn't find it:

  1. If the new router has 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz combined under one name, temporarily separate them (or disable 5 GHz) in the router settings, and connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz network.
  2. Remove the old printer from HP Smart, uninstall and reinstall the app, and repeat Option 1.

Let me know what the lights do after step 2 and I'll help you with the next step.
