Hello I no longer get wireless or ethernet internet from my HP all in one Instead, I get a message that the Realtek Adapter is malfunctioning. RTL 8822BE 802.11acPCle.
Not sure if this means I have to replace it because it has passed its sell-by date And I don't know where/how to locate the Adapter Does this require a technician?
thanks for any help

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if updating the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers to their latest versions help.
Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers
Version 2024.10.230.1
Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver
Version 1.10.1072.3000
If that doesn't resolve the problem, you will probably have to replace the Wi-Fi adapter and that will be expensive to do because those PC's are very difficult to take apart.
What I would do instead would be to purchase a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.
