Realtek LAN driver has been updating for over 15 hours.  HP Support Assistant says updating and to let finish.  PC is usable since this is updating in the background.  What do you suggest?

HI@muellermp1,@, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you have frozen on Realtek LAN drivers update with your PC.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any hardware or software changes on your PC?

  1. Unplug everything, including power and all other externally connected components
  2. Press and hold down the power button for forty (40) seconds
  3. Release the power button

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
