Since the day i purchased my HP omen I've been trying to connect to my company server using the remote desktop connection app that comes with on windows 10. I don't know what is causing it to not connect. I get a blue screen that says Please Wait. After a couple of minutes I lose connection. I use the same app on 2 other computers that I have and there are no issues with those. The desktop I am have issues with is an HP omen with an AMD Ryzen 5 and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. I set up the app exactly as the ones that are working and I have checked and double checked the settings and all are the same.
If someone can help me with a solution for this that would be much appreciated.

@Baker67 -- I've been trying to connect to my company server using the remote desktop connection app that comes with on windows 10. I don't know what is causing it to not connect.
Can the I.T. Department for the company help you to connect? Do they see any error-message on their end, at the date/time that you try to connect?

Do those other computers have the identical Windows Firewall settings, to allow "unsolicited incoming" traffic to reach your computer?
Are those other computers using the same "Internet Security" packages (firewall and anti-virus components) ? Such a package would disable the Windows Firewall, and use its own firewall software.

I was able to get the desktop connection working. There is a firewall setup and can only get through with certain credentials. I had the box checked for "Always ask for credentials" which I did not need to have checked. The credentials are set up via a separate program to get through the firewall. The desktop connection app is used to gain access to my assigned workstation located at the home office.
