Thin Client t5740
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello,

i'm searching a network driver for the onboard ethernet port in a Thin Client t5740, for Windows 7 32bit.

After a fresh Windows install everything worked out of the box, except the lan port wasn't detected by Windows.

The Ethernet-Controller has the following Hardware-IDs:

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1692&SUBSYS_969214E4&REV_01
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1692&SUBSYS_969214E4
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1692&CC_020000
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1692&CC_0200

A Google search for the Hardware-IDs didn't helped me. Some results may assume it is a Broadcom chip. So I tested some Broadcom drivers, but non of them worked.

Maybe someone has a clue what could help?

Hi:

See if this driver works.   Try manually installing the driver if the auto install method doesn't work.

This package provides the drivers for the Broadcom NIC in the supported desktop models and operating systems.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55284.exe

It does have the generic hardware ID (PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1692) in the setup information file...

%F_NAME0% = DEV_KEY2.NTx86.6.0, PCI\VEN_14e4&DEV_1692
