Serial number for HP 230 wireless mouse and keyboard - NOT WORKING

Hi - bought a HP 230 wireless keyboard and mouse combo in Apr- 24 from Amazon. It has stopped working and the serial No is not recognised on the HP website so I cannot get any assistance/replacement. Please advise, as I haven’t had it for long so it’s very disappointing that it has stopped working.
