I’m trying to connect my computer to an AT&T hotspot. My question is. Do I need to hook my computer to a router to get it to connect to the hotspot it currently will not connect going straight from the computer to the hotspot

Hi:

 

The product specs for your PC indicate that it came with wired networking capabilities only.

 

The easiest thing to do to add wireless networking capability to your PC would be to purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

 

This model is both dual band with Bluetooth for example...
