I'm pretty sure it's a USB 3... it's blue inside. I ordered it from Amazon yesterday. We'll see, and I'll let you know how it turns out.

I got the suggested USB network adaptor today from Amazon, and after a little difficulty finding the setup.exe file to click on, got the proper driver installed and the new adaptor was recognized in device manager. Evidently, the transmissions from the adaptor killed my wireless mouse. (Too close to the nib plugged in the back. It has happened before with my backup hard drive). Luckily I have a touch screen to get the settings adjusted in the advanced tab for the new adaptor. Unfortunately, using auto negotiation as well as 1.0GB did not increase my internet speed. I'll tinker with it more tomorrow when I more patience.
