Microsoft Windows 11

There is a solid Green light and a blinking Orange light on the ethernet port of the desktop. The unit is very slow to load webpages and video. Spent 2 hours on the phone with ATT which advised me that all was great on their end up to and including the modem. They advised the problem was on my end..... any help would be appreciated.

All drivers have been updated and current

@mark437011 -- There is a solid Green light and a blinking Orange light on the Ethernet port of the desktop.

This could be perfectly normal.

The green light indicates that your computer is connected, via Ethernet, to your cable-modem.

The orange light could indicate a "fast" connection (1000 Mbps) rather than a "slow" connection (100 Mbps).

Or, the orange light could light-up whenever your computer is downloading from the Internet.

What values do you get when using your web-browser to access:  http://www.SpeedTest.net

Are the reported values similar to the speed that you have contracted, with your Provider, to get?

If not, what values do you get?

How long has the computer been Internet-connected?  The very first few days that you have used the computer, it can be quite busy downloading & installing updates (from Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, and from your anti-virus provider).
