Have a Sierra Wireless USB modem/aircard that is my only means of connecting to the internet. Works great on my old desktop, old laptop, and even my husband's new laptop running Win10 but will NOT work on the Pavilion 570. When I run the software to try to connect to the internet, it says another application is using the modem.... After many hours of beating my head against the wall, it APPEARS that perhaps the internal card for wifi & bluetooth (which appears to be an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 based on the latest errors I've received) is trying to use the USB modem. I can't find any way to stop this - it's not showing anywhere under Device Manager. Can anyone help out/offer suggestions/make burnt offerings? I've got to have internet access ASAP on the new system because the mother board on my old desktop is dying rapidly!!!! UPDATE: I finally found the intel card & disabled it but am still receiving the same error that my aircard is already in use. HELP!!!
