Hi, I'm having a problem with my HP Chromebook. My Bluetooth headphones connect normally, but then they keep disconnecting every 2–3 minutes, and recently its even hard to pair my devices anymore, I have already done a power wash still no effect. What can I do to fix this problem, it is very frustrating.

@Darsh123, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Bluetooth Issues on Your HP Chromebook!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Bluetooth connectivity issues on Chromebooks can be frustrating, especially when they affect your ability to use headphones or other devices consistently. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Update Chrome OS: Ensure your Chromebook's Chrome OS is up to date. Updates often include fixes for connectivity issues. Go to Settings > About Chrome OS and check for updates.
Restart Bluetooth Services:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then back on.
- Try reconnecting your device.
Check for Interference: Bluetooth signals can be affected by interference from Wi-Fi networks or other electronic devices. Ensure that other devices are turned off or moved away to see if the issue persists.
Improve Proximity: Make sure your headphones or Bluetooth device is within a close range of the Chromebook. Bluetooth devices usually have a limited range, and being too far away might cause disconnection.
Re-pair the Device:
- Remove the device from your Chromebook's Bluetooth list.
- Restart the Chromebook.
- Attempt to re-pair the device.
Try a Different Bluetooth Device: Test whether other Bluetooth devices experience the same issue. If not, the problem may lie with the headphones rather than the Chromebook.
Hardware Reset: This can sometimes resolve Bluetooth and other hardware issues:
- Turn off the Chromebook.
- Press and hold the Refresh button, then press the Power button. Release the Refresh button when the Chromebook starts up.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
