You will only be able to do a direct swap to a dual band card if there are two antenna cables connected to the Broadcom card in there now.
So, open up the PC and check to make sure before upgrading to this card...otherwise it won't work properly with only one antenna cable connected to it.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

The Broadcom card will be lying flat on the motherboard in a Mini-PCIe slot, and there will be one or two thin antenna cables connected to it. Hopefully, there are two antenna cables. The wifi card looks like this...
