Solved!

Upgrading Intel AC3165 to AC9260

HP Recommended
Pavilion 550-295a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my M2 dual band wireless network card which is current AC 3165 to an AC 9260.   My current card is 1 x 1 technology and the AC 9260 is 2 x 2.   Is the 9260 compatible.    Just want to make sure before I purchase it.  Many thanks in advance.

Hi:

That model should be fine, and so would the AX200, but you must get the non-vPro versions of either card.

The Intel 9560 AC wifi card will not work.
