Product: HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

For 2 days now, I've been seeing an "envelope" over my HP Support Assistant icon on my taskbar. When I investigate it, there's nothing I can see to get rid of it. I don't want to get rid of HP Support Assistant, just the envelope that is over it. any suggestions are welcomed.

It tells you you have a new message, click to Open it you should see a number sit next to the envelope

You can click to the envelope to see what it is then take action. It will go back to 0 (as shown on mine) and no envelope over the HPSA icon on Taskbar (or Desktop).

Hi, I know WHAT the envelope on HP Support Assistant is, I want to get rid of it, 'cos I don't have ANY messages! It is blank... 

Thanks anyway... I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling HP Support Assistant and that did the trick as nothing else I tried worked...
