HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I've had my desktop for only about a month and a half and I'm running into bluetooth issues. I can connect with my earbuds, but it feels like the signal is a lot weaker recently. I don't recall having any issues with my bluetooth earbuds for a while; I would remember if I did. I'd tentatively say it's only started in the last several days; I can barely use it because it seems anything interferes and stops audio from playing; that 'anything' just being my arm stretched out which theoretically shouldn't cause interference that easy because it never did in the past and there's nothing mechanical about it. Notably I can see that the bluetooth device is still connected, there's just no audio going through.

It isn't my earbuds because it works fine on my phone, and I tried a different pair of wireless earbuds and they the same issue. It feels like a desktop issue. I just don't understand why it's struggling now from some minor things when in the past I could even walk out of my room and it'd be connected just fine. I haven't moved the computer to a new spot, and I don't think an arm or tilt of the head or whatever else should really be causing it.

For additional information: I didn't move my computer from a different spot, and I am not using new devices wired or wireless. There's no new devices in my room. I'm using the same, minimal amount of accessories that I have always did (wired keyboard, wireless mouse via dongle, usb microphone). I have tried disconnecting the microphone and the wireless mouse (despite the fact it should not be causing any interference) and it didn't fix anything so it's not those. The conditions haven't changed in any way that should affect the computer and cause the bluetooth signal to be so bad, my only guess is that whatever internal adapter is just dying fast for some reason or got loosened somehow. I wouldn't know which one of the internal parts is the adapter to check that.

a  BIOS update for Windows 11 came out just three weeks ago you might try it

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-tp01-2000a/2100367768/model/...

you might check your Windows Update history and see if some update came in just recently that might have messed with the Bluetooth   if so then install the Bluetooth driver listed in the above link or un-install the update
