The one I bought is too tall to fit into the exterior slot. I bought a GC-WBAX200 from Aorus and the metal plate that faces out to the exterior of the PC is too tall to allow it to fit correctly. My apologies if this makes no sense. Please help! Suggestions on the right one to purchase (around $30) would be super helpful.

Hi:
You bought the right kind of adapter, but didn't it come with a low-profile mounting bracket so you can unscrew the standard size bracket and install the one for the low-profile PC's such as the SFF?
If not, you need to buy one that also comes with the low-profile mounting bracket in the package, as well as the internal USB cable that plugs into the back of the Wi-Fi card and into the 9-pin USB header on the motherboard.
The cable is for the Bluetooth to work.
Only the Wi-Fi card works directly from the PCIe x 1 slot.
For example, this one comes with the low-profile mounting bracket so you can switch it out.

You're very welcome.
No, only the 800 G2 Desktop Mini PC has a M.2 slot where a Wi-Fi card goes and that would also support Bluetooth.
Your PC should have either a USB SD card header or a 9-pin internal USB header that you plug the USB cable into.
One end goes into the back of the Wi-Fi card and the other end with the 9-pins plugs into the motherboard.
If you look at your PC's motherboard, the SD Card reader header should be next to the SATA ports.
It is labeled in white lettering SD RDR.
It has 11 pins.
You plug the 9-pin USB cable into the 9 pins to the left, leaving the right two pins uncovered.
That is really the only way it can go, so it won't be hard to figure out.
If you look at this motherboard picture on eBay, the 3rd picture selection on the left side of the motherboard illustration shows the location of the 11-pin SD card reader header.
