The wireless internet connection on my new (windows 11) computer is constantly losing internet connection. Everything else that is connected throughout the house works fine except for this computer.' which is 10 ft from the router in the same area. The only way I can get it to connect to Wi-Fi again is to restart the computer. Then, it is connected automatically without an issue unless the computer sits idle for a while or I set it to sleep at night. Once I try to use it again in the morning the wi-fi is disconnected. I've only had the computer for 2 weeks (purchased straight from HP, so this is a bit frustrating to say the least.

Run the HP Support Assistant to get the latest HP updates. Do the same for window 11. The latest Wi-Fi driver, Jan 2023, is version 1.0.0.220 and if you have an older one then download it here
In the mean time do not let the Wi-Fi adapter turn off to save power. Uncheck the blue box below
Let me know if you still have the problem.
