The spec for your system shows a WiFi and Bluetooth combo device in addition to 1gb hardwired ethernet

If exiting WiFi give a poor connection then try a better band: 5ghz for your Omen and a clear channel at the modem
Go here
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/desktops
and put in your serial number and see if there is a newer WiFi driver and/or bios
If you post your product ID (not serial number) I may be able to narrow down the best driver or bios
