HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-2000i (1K4E8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I recently bought this and the WiFi keeps disconnecting. All other devices in the same room are fine, and my previous computer in the same place was and is fine. I go through the network troubleshooter and it reconnects the Wi-Fi adapter. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but I only ever keep the connection for a minute or so before it drops again. Any advice?

There are a couple of things you can trly.

First, see if you have the latest BIOS and drivers for the 1K4E8AV

Many above are less than a year old and you may want to upgrade.

There are two drivers for WiFi.  One is Intel the oither Realtek.  You can run msinfo32 from the windows search to check your bios version and the type of driver.

You may want to do the following first as possibly the wrong band is being used.  Please select 5ghz an A/C, N
