Hi @Eclipse3,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to be unable to connect your HP laptop to Wi-Fi, especially after trying multiple troubleshooting steps. Let's go through some additional solutions that may help.
Restart Wi-Fi Adapter
- Press Windows + X and choose Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Intel, Realtek) and select Disable.
- After disabling, right-click it again and select Enable.
- Try reconnecting to Wi-Fi.
Update Wi-Fi Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and choose Update driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Restart your laptop and check the Wi-Fi connection.
Reset Network Settings
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Scroll down and select Network reset.
- This will reset all network adapters and return them to default settings.
- Restart your laptop after the reset.
Use Windows Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Internet Connections and run the troubleshooter to see if it detects any issues.
Check for Windows Updates
- Ensure your laptop has the latest Windows updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
- Select the Wi-Fi network and choose Forget.
- Try reconnecting to the network by entering the Wi-Fi password again.
Check Router Settings
- Ensure your router isn’t blocking the laptop’s MAC address.
- Try rebooting your router and connecting to Wi-Fi again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
