WiFi 5 to WiFi 6

Hi 🙂

On my PC there is a Realtek rtl 8822Be Pcie Adapter (802.11ac - WiFi 5 if i am correct)

From my internett provider i got a Zyxel wifi 6 router and i do want wifi6 on my pc as well.

Is it possible to download drivers for an update to wifi6 or do i have to by a new adapter?

In case of a new one , which one ?

Hi:

You would have to replace the  Realtek RTL8822BE wifi adapter.

There is no guarantee another wifi adapter will work, but if you want to experiment, this one has the best chance of working...

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro  HP part # L35282-005.

Only a non-vPro wifi card would work.

You can see if you can find this model wifi card on eBay.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

On this HP#L35282-005 Adapter there is a Bluetooth v.5.1

On my PC there is a Realtek Bluetooth Adapter v.4.2.

Do i have to do something about this adapter to?

Hi:

No, the Bluetooth is built into the Intel wifi card, just like it is on the Realtek one. 

It is just the updated version of Bluetooth.
