Hey there, i have had this issue on-off since i got this laptop. The WiFi goes out at random times, when i open the WiFi list it says there are no networks nearby or something along the lines of that. Resetting the network adapter fixes it but its really annoying to have to do that everytime on top of the abruption, is there any solution to this? my network adapter is a Realtek RTL8852AE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe adapter (up to date, according to HP, windows update and my device manager atleast). Thanks!

Hi:
This is the latest driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:
Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers
Version 6001.10.356.1

Thank you, that seems to have fixed it.
I wanted to ask, how do i check for updates on my laptop in the future? HP SupportAssist did not show me this new driver update although i check for updates very frequently. Is there a way to do it manually? Or, is this a problem-specific update that isnt generally shown as an update in HP SupportAssist?

You're very welcome.
You have to check your notebook's support page to see if there are newer updates available or you have to visit newer HP PC support pages to see if something newer is available.
I'm afraid it is a manual process and the HPSA is of little help.
In the amount of time that has passed since you posted your question and I replied, there is even a newer version of the Wi-Fi driver available:
6001.10.356.2
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp155001-155500/sp155074.exe
This driver I found on the HP 15-fd1000 support page.
