Hello,

So my computer restarted due to a power flicker (its on a surge protector, no worries there) and suddenly the wifi is no longer an option in any capacity. I have followed along with several youtube tutorials and it is NOT a network issue- I am getting pings and all other devices are working. 

 

When I go to Settings -> Network and Internet -> Change Adapter Options wifi does not show up, all that is visible is Ethernet and Ethernet 2. I have already gone over solutions in Device Manager, as well as a few other resets. I was looking to find a way to update the adapter through any drivers or anything offered through HP but there is nothing... I am frustrated. 

 

I am a grad student and this is the worst timing ever- my thesis is due in a month. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
