HP Recommended

I have noticed comments elsewhere about the Realtek drivers, and maybe the issues with their latest one are why HP haven't issued it as an udate yet.

 

As an aside, the original problem I was having which led to my updating the driver was the dropping of the wifi periodically.

It turned out it this happened because Windows 11 is set for the wifi to go to 'sleep' when not in use, and the power management option was missing in the device manager to turn of the 'sleep' option. I put the option back using Regedit, turned off 'sleep' and that cured the problem, so I could revert to the original driver to cure the 'cast' problem..
