Wifi signal Very weak even within a few meters of router.

Hello community!
Since a short while I have been experiencing problems with my wireless connection. I only receive very bad internet connections at very short distances. I have tried resetting the computer to factory settings but all to no success.
Ik need the computer for School but now I can't take it with me for the signal received is SO weak it can't detect it. Letting the computer search for the problem didn't help either and showed no effect. I know the wifi everywhere is way better than the signal that i'm receiving. I am not that good with computers so could use a bit of guidance in the answers maybe. Sorry for that in advance!
I hope to get this fixed soon, thanks!!

I have no idea but it seems rather farfetched. The laptop has not moved much since I bought it and I have already tried the system reset as mentioned before.

Hi
You posted a Laptop question in a Desktop forum, so I may be a bit vague in my help.
It is a LAPTOP/NOTEBOOK?
What operating system are you using? W10 version ???? 1709? 1809?
Copy, Paste and Save in Notepad, as LBB.bat (not a .TXT) and double click to run.
Preferably run as an Administrator.
OR copy and use the individual command lines as needed.
Post anything non-personal, but relevant please.
@ECHO OFF
getmac
netsh lan show interfaces
netsh wlan show drivers
netsh wlan show interfaces
PAUSE
systeminfo
PowerShell -Command "Get-NetAdapter"
PowerShell -Command "Get-NetAdapter -Name * | Format-Table -View Driver"
PowerShell -Command "GIP -Detailed"
PowerShell -Command "Test-NetConnection"
PAUSE

It tells me the Hosted network status is unavailable and signal strength is 26% while I am sitting next to the router. And yes I am on a laptop, sorry for posting it in the wrong place.

So
Change the router channel and / or frequency.
Without some really helpful answers this is going to fail...
I get
Channel : 1
Receive rate (Mbps) : 72.2
Transmit rate (Mbps) : 72.2
Signal : 80%
