Need to replace the OEM keyboard. Will any HP wireless keyboard work? The interface appears to be on-board and the replacement kayboards have usb dongles?

The answer is NO, the dongle inside has code to "talk" with keyboard & mouse outside. Two machines which are sit next other can't use same code, just thinking you want to type something when the a person sits next to you to type other thing.

You can use a new SET with new dongle, keyboard and mouse. Please use a Link-5 family products, you can use one dongle to connect up to 5 different wireless devices.

Regards.

I bought an open box hpenvy32. The wireless KB and mouse obviously are from a different hp envy32 as they don't pair. Wondering if there is some way I can pair the wrong KB and mouse to the current HP Envy?
