HP Compaq SR1900NX
Microsoft Windows XP

My office has an HP Compaq Presario with the product name SR1900NX with number EX304AA. It has no wireless ability. It is equipped with a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC. I need to connect to my company’s WiFi since they will not replace the ethernet my computer has been connected to since I started. I was told I need a wireless network adapter but I can’t figure out what kind. Any suggestions on what would work?

Hi:

The easiest thing to do would be to purchase an external USB wireless network adapter.

If you are running XP as you indicated, make sure you can find one that has XP driver support.
