Wireless connection issue

Product: HP Slim Desktop 450-a24
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The wireless connection just stopped.  I have reset the network settings, but that didn't help.

I tried to delete and reinstall the wireless adapter, but the adapter isn't showing up at all.  

Do I just need to install a new wireless card?  Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Start by running the F2 diagnostics (Tap F2 when powering on) Go to component tests and wireless. All it will do is tell you if it's detected it or not. If it DOES detect it, then it's probably a software / Windows issue. You may need to revert to a restore point or do a full factory restore (via F11 when booting)

If it DOES NOT detect the card, then you may need to replace the card. Here's a link to the hardware specs of your PC including the type of WiFi card. https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04693510

You could also try loading setup defaults in BIOS (F10 on boot) in case somehow it's been disabled there.
