I am student from india who will be travelling to usa and I have bought my laptop in 2021 so do I need to buy voltage converter for my laptop? Or am I good to go only with universal adapter?

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

You should be good to go!  Most modern PC's come with universal voltage power supplies.

Examine yours - it should be listed as INPUT:  120 - 240 AC.   As long as you have an adapter for US receptacles, you should be fine.
