Hi @abhishek1501,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the Bluetooth icon has disappeared from your HP PC and you're unable to use Bluetooth, follow these troubleshooting steps to restore it.

Check Bluetooth Settings

  • Windows Settings:
    1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
    2. Navigate to Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
    3. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on. If it's missing, continue to the next steps.

Add the Bluetooth Icon to the System Tray

  • Open Settings (Win + I) and go to Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Scroll down to Related settings and click on More Bluetooth options.
  • In the Bluetooth Settings window:
    1. Go to the Options tab.
    2. Check Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area.
    3. Click Apply and OK.

Restart Bluetooth Services

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  • Locate these services:
    • Bluetooth Support Service
    • Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service
    • Bluetooth User Support Service
  • Right-click each service, select Restart, and set their Startup Type to Automatic.

Update or Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers

Update the Driver:

  1. Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Bluetooth.
  3. Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel, Realtek, Qualcomm) and choose Update driver.
  4. Select Search automatically for drivers.

Reinstall the Driver:

  1. In Device Manager, right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
  2. Restart your PC. Windows will reinstall the driver automatically.

Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter

  • Open Settings (Win + I).
  • Navigate to Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Select Additional troubleshooters > Bluetooth and run the troubleshooter.

Check BIOS Settings

Sometimes, Bluetooth might be disabled in the BIOS settings:

  • Restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI (usually by pressing F2, F10, or Del during boot).
  • Look for Bluetooth settings and ensure it is enabled.
  • Save changes and exit.

Perform a System Restore (Optional)

If the issue started recently, you can restore your PC to an earlier point:

  1. Press Win + R, type rstrui, and hit Enter.
  2. Follow the prompts to choose a restore point.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
